What is a laser facial? Which laser facial should I get?
There are a variety of laser facial technologies and techniques available in Morgantown which could be considered a “laser facial.” Willow Med Spa deploys the most advanced laser technology for our clients, including:

- BBL HERO (Photofacial) technology, which actually uses light rather than lasers to promote anti-aging effects, eliminate facial vessels, and more
- The MicroLaserPeel for targeting sun damage and scarring on the face, neck, and hands
- SkinTyte & Profound technologies which target loose skin on the face and neck and promote collagen production in areas of lost volume
- The DiamondGlow, utilizing LED Therapy for a quick refresh and skin maintenance

Do I need a consultation before a laser facial?
We absolutely suggest, and most times require, a consultation before receiving a laser facial in Morgantown. We use a skin analysis device called a VISIA to take a snapshot of your skin and analyze the quality of the cells below the surface. This will help us understand how deep your concerns reach and which laser facial will be right for your specific goals.
During this consultation, we will also discuss your budget, timeline, and any downtime associated with your treatment.
When is the best time to get a laser facial?
If you’re preparing your skin for a big event, the sooner you can begin laser facial treatments, the better. Often, mothers of the bride, brides themselves, and even bridesmaids will prepare for a wedding by getting laser facials starting up to 1 year before their big day.

☀️ It’s important to note that we generally do not recommend getting some laser facials during the summer months, as sun exposure can greatly reduce the effects of your treatment and sometimes even cause damage to the newly generated cells on the surface of the skin!
What other treatments best complement a laser facial?
There are a variety of complementary treatments to a laser facial depending on the technology you use. Some clients choose to utilize a laser treatment to target deeper concerns below the skin’s surface, then treat the surface of the skin with a more gentle or superficial treatment such as Dermaplaning or Oxygen Facial. Typically, we do not recommend getting laser treatments close together with other deep exfoliation techniques, as the skin’s layers need time to heal in between each treatment.
