It’s important to note that Botox is not permanent, though it is long lasting. Our clients visit us as needed to help curb their excessive sweating; depending on a wide variety of factors, you may need to return again between 4 and 12 months to maintain the effect.
How much downtime is there after receiving Botox for hyperhidrosis?
None! After receiving Botox injections in your underarms, you’re free to go right back to work or back to your daily routine.
What areas of the body can I get Botox injections for sweating?
Botox is FDA-approved for use under the arms (for excessive sweating) and on the face (to reduce wrinkles). It can also be used “off label” for the hands and feet.

That’s up to you! Sweat is the primary cause of the smell you may notice under your arms. With that sweat gone or exceptionally minimized, there should be no need. (Hint: getting laser hair removal under your arms can help you be truly comfortable in tank tops and bathing suits!)
